Description

Folio: 168v. Hampshire. Grant.

First party: King John.

Second party: William Brugwer' [Brewer].

Place or subject: The king wished and granted that no prejudice is caused to the said William Brugwer or his heirs on account that the king has married to Robert de Burgat Galiena, daughter and heir of William de Danmartin. Afterwards the king gave and by his charter confirmed to the same William and his heirs the fee of one knight in Meldesham, which John Bruwer held with the said daughter and heir of William de Danmartin.
