First party: Godfrey Foliambe, knight, and William de Bughbrygge, clerk, by licence of the king.
Second party: John, duke of Lancaster [John of Gaunt], and Blanche, his wife.
Place or subject: 1,000 acres of pasture and 500 acres of wood with appurtenances in Chepynglambourne [Chipping Lambourn]. To hold to the duke and Blanche and their heirs in tail of the king in chief by the services thereupon due. If it happens that the duke and Blanche die without heirs in tail, then after their deaths this pasture and wood will entirely remain to the right heirs of the same duke, to hold of the king in chief by the services due and accustomed forever.
