Place or subject: Whereas the earl has granted Richard the manor of Estgarston [East Garston] with appurtenances, together with a grove called Grascroft that is appurtenant to the manor, to hold for his life, the earl quitclaims it to Richard and his heirs in tail forever, paying to the earl and his heirs 4s a year at the usual terms of that manor.
