Place or subject: All the lands, tenements and rents which the earl had in the vill of Donestaple [Dunstable] by the death of Saunder Poddyng. To hold of the chief lords of the fee to John for the whole of his life, freely and quietly, doing to them the services due and accustomed. Paying to the earl and his heirs one rose annually at the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist for all services. After John's death, the lands are to return to the earl and his heirs without any opposition.
