First party: Henry, duke of Hereford and earl of Derby [Henry of Bolingbroke].
Second party: Thomas Beaumond and Joan, his wife.
Place or subject: A moiety of the manor of Daventre [Daventry] with appurtenances. Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them in the court, namely that Thomas and Joan acknowledged the moiety to be the right of the same duke, and that they remitted and quitclaimed from Thomas and Joan and Joan's heirs to the duke and his heirs forever. For this quitclaim the duke gave to Thomas and Joan 200 marks of silver.
