First party: Henry, earl of Derby [Henry of Bolingbroke].
Second party: Thomas Curteys and Maud, his wife.
Place or subject: A moiety of the manor of Daventre [Daventry] with appurtenances. Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them in court, namely that Thomas and Maud acknowledged that moiety to be the right of the same earl, and that they remitted and quitclaimed from Thomas and Maud and Maud's heirs to the earl and his heirs forever. For this quitclaim the earl gave to Thomas and Maud 100 marks of silver.
