Place or subject: Whereas Alan de Hauville holds of Robert's inheritance one knight's fee, to which fee the homages and services of the abbot of Bekherlewyn [Bec Hellouin], Robert de Hungerford, John de Langebrugge, Geoffrey Kyng, John de Sandon, Alan de Hauvyle, Edmund de Polhamton, William Gunter, Geoffrey le Smyth, William de Schaldeford, Elias Farman, Elias Proye, John, son of John Kyng, John, son of Richard Kyng, John Farman, William Merwelle, Richard atte Halle, Thomas Dyare, Willliam Ysaac, Richard Fede, John Dyare, Nicholas le Tanner, Margaret Niewman, William Kyng, Roger Pynel, Richard le Dyghere, John de Bremesden, and John, son of John de Farleye, pertain, together with 100 acres of woodland, 200 acres of pasture and 100s of rent with appurtenances in Sandon for the term of the life of Margaret, late the wife of Henry Tyays, which estate Margaret has of the lease of Richard, father of Robert Fokeram, whose heir Robert is, Robert has granted for himself and his heirs the same fee, homages and services of those tenants, together with the lands which after the death of Margaret ought to revert to Robert and his heirs, with remainder to Richard de Ryvers of Blakegrove [Blagrave], knight. To hold to Richard and his heirs and assigns forever of the chief lord of the fee by the services due and accustomed.
