Folio: 118v. Sixty charters or muniments about Shenston [Shenstone], Staffordshire, in one box, marked by the letter S. Final concord.
First party: John son of Roger.
Second party: Robert de Grendon.
Place or subject: Ten acres of land with appurtenances in Barre [Great Barr], concerning which an assize of mort d'ancestor was summoned between them in this court, namely that John quitclaimed for himself and his heirs to Robert and his heirs forever all his right and claim in that land. For this quitclaim and concord Robert gave John 20s sterling.
County: [Staffordshire].
Additional people: Made before Thomas de Muleton [Moulton], Maurice [de] Gaunt, Robert de Lexinton [Laxton] and Ralph Musard, justices itinerant.
Made in the king's court at Lichesfeld [Lichfield].
The morrow of All Souls, 12 Hen III.
