Place or subject: The service of Richard de St Edmund. To hold of him freely and quietly, just as he held it of Robert's father and of Robert, and by the same service, namely for his tenure the sixteenth part of a knight. If his lord wishes, he will send that man in his service once a year such space of the road as is between Oxenford [Oxford] and Shenestan [Shenstone], and this is to be at the cost of his lord.
