First party: John de Freford, knight, and Margaret, his wife.
Second party: Henry de Lancaster, earl of Derby.
Place or subject: £20 sterling of annual rent, to be received from their manor of Freford [Freeford] by the hands of the ministers there. To have and hold the rent at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions to the earl and his heirs. If it happens that the earl, his heirs or assigns are in arrears, then it will be lawful for them to distrain in the manor of Freford [Freeford] by all goods and chattels.
