First party: William, son of Henry de Rolleston, chaplain.
Second party: Reginald, son of Hugh Young and Lettice, his wife.
Place or subject: One messuage with two houses standing upon it, with a curtilage and garden, namely that which lies between the messuage of William the carpenter on the one side and the messuage of Maud, sister of the same Reginald on the other, as appears by certain bounds. In addition, William granted Reginald and Lettice and their heirs free entrance and exit from their house to the channel by the width of 20 feet. To hold to Reginald and Lettice, his wife, and their heirs freely, quietly, entirely, well and in peace with all appurtenances, paying for this yearly to William and his heirs one penny on the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary, and doing, in addition, to the chief lord the service of 2s, namely 12d at Michaelmas and 12d at the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary in March. For this grant Reginald gave William 10s of silver in advance.
