Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III [Edmund of Lancaster].
Place or subject: Two marks of annual rent with appurtenances to be received from Robert de Kniteleye and Alina de Paunton, his wife, and her heirs for the time being forever at the two terms of the year, namely a moiety at Easter and the other moiety at Michaelmas, for eighty acres of assart. seventy-two of which lie below the forest of Nedwode [Needwood] between the assart formerly of William de Vernoun on the one side and the land of Norman de Paunton on the other, and three acres lie next to the pond of Stoniford, and also for ten pigs of pannage yearly being quit. To hold to Edmund and his heirs or assigns and their heirs forever freely, quietly and entirely with appurtenances, as in homages, wards, reliefs and escheats.
