First party: Henry, earl of Lancaster and Leicester, steward of England.
Second party: The burgesses of the vill of Tuttebur' [Tutbury].
Place or subject: Their oven in the same vill of Tutbury. To hold the oven with suit due to it, and the house thereof, saving to the earl and his heirs the stalls adjoining the house, to those burgesses and their heirs in fee farm forever, paying yearly to the earl and his heirs 24s at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions. The burgesses are to maintain the oven and house at their costs in all things, saving those stalls which the earl is to repair at his own cost. If this rent happens to be in arrears, it will be lawful for the earl or his ministers to distrain both in all their tenements and burgages in the vill of Tutbury as well as in the oven, and to detain the distresses until the arrears have been paid.
