Place or subject: Seventy-seven acres of land of assart between the assarts of William de Vernun and Norman Pantulf, extending in length towards the west next to Norman's land and three acres of land by the mill of Stainforde. For his homage and service. To hold of the earl and his heirs to Roger and his heirs or assigns, except for religious men, in fee and inheritance, freely, quietly and entirely with all liberties and free customs and easements pertaining to the vill of Rolveston [Rolleston], and ten pigs quit from pannage, doing to the earl and his heirs a twelfth part of the service of one knight.
