First party: Henry, earl of Lancaster and Leicester, steward of England.
Second party: William le Keu of Yoxhale [Yoxall].
Place or subject: One plot of land in the earl's chase of Nedwode [Needwood] in the ward of Yoxhale [Yoxall] upon the 'lewe' of Suerbourn near to Wodegate, which contains one acre, for constructing one watermill at his own costs. To hold of the earl and his heirs to William and his heirs in tail freely, well and in peace, paying 16s 8d at Michaelmas and Easter in equal portions. The earl grants that William can dig and take land from his ground adjoining the mill for mending the mill-pond by view of the steward of Tutteburs [Tutbury].
