Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III.
Place or subject: John's mill upon the River Douve [Dove], which is called Dounemulne within the manor of Mercington [Marchington], with its whole suit and with the watercourse, pools, hays and fisheries, together with crofts, gardens, services and all other appurtenances without any reservation. For fifty marks of silver, which Edmund gave to John in advance. To hold to Edmund and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, well and in peace with all liberties, easements and all other profits forever, as freely, entirely and quietly as John's ancestors at any time held it.
