Place or subject: Between Geoffrey, petent, and Edmund, whom Nicholas le Clerk called to warrant and who warranted to him by William Whiter, his attorney, concerning a moiety of one acre of land with appurtenances in Clayton Gryffyn [Clayton]. And between Geoffrey, petent, and Edmund, whom Richard Tope called to warrant and who warranted to him. concerning one acre of land with appurtenances in the same vill. And between Geoffrey, petent, and Edmund, whom Robert le Dyere and John le Dyere called to warrant and who warranted to them, concerning one acre of land in the same vill. And between Geoffrey, petent, and Edmund, whom Henry de Thyknes called to warrant and who warranted to him, concerning six acres of land in the same vill. And between Geoffrey, petent, and Edmund, whom Robert le Dyere called to warrant and who warranted to him, concerning three acres of land in the same vill. Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them in the same court, namely that Geoffrey acknowledged those tenements to be the right of Edmund and those he remised and quitclaimed from himself and his heirs to him and his heirs forever. For this concord Edmund gave Geoffrey one goshawk.
