Second party: The mayor and commonalty of the town of Newcastle under Lyme.
Place or subject: Henry has leased to the mayor and commonalty one plot of meadow in his manor of Newcastle under Lyme called Kyngesmedue, for making a mill, saving to the earl and his heirs the fish in the mill-pond. [Further details given]. To hold the meadow and mill, when it is built, of the earl and his heirs to the mayor and good men of that commonalty and their heirs in tail at fee farm forever, with all easements and profits, paying to the earl and his heirs 20s sterling. [Further details given].
