Second party: William le Waite of Melborne [Melbourne], clerk.
Place or subject: One messuage and one yardland with the appurtenances in Melborne [Melbourne], which John le Wayte, his father, holds of the same earl. To hold to William for the term of his life freely, well and in peace. After his death the messuage and lands are to remain to Roger de Overton and Agnes, his wife, and their heirs in tail, with further remainder after their deceases without heirs in tail to William Pakemon and Joan, his wife, and their heirs in tail. And if they die without heirs in tail, the premises are to revert to the earl and his heirs. Paying yearly to the earl and his heirs 6s 8d at the usual terms in the earl's manor of Melborne [Melbourne], and paying after the death of each holder 20s in the name of a fine and 13s 4d as a heriot and suit at the earl's court of Melbourne, as other freeholders.
