Place or subject: The whole baliwick of the hundred of Appeltr' [Appletree] and Sutton, just as he had it from the demise of Brother William Tarente, bailiff of the queen, excepting the bailiwick from the supplement of the same hundred, which Henry Wildegos holds of the earl. For his homage and service. To hold of the earl and his heirs to Robert and his heirs in tail, well, in peace, freely and quietly, doing the service due and accustomed, just as the serjeants of the same hundred have been accustomed to do to the earl's ancestors, and just as Robert did at the time of William, paying yearly to the earl and his heirs at the Assumption of the Glorious Virgin Mary one half-mark of silver.
