Place or subject: Four messuages and twenty acres of land with appurtenances in Scropton which lie between the way that leads from Foston to Scropton, and the messuage of William le Mortimer. And ten acres abut upon those messuages on the one side and on the other side upon the land of the prior of Tuttesbur' [Tutbury]. And ten acres of land lying in le Eyes of Doune in a certain place called Aldeborow between the meadow of Thomas Morel and the highway which leads from Scropton to Sudbur'. To hold to Edmund and his heirs or assigns of the chief lord of that fee freely, quietly and forever by the services due for this.
