Place or subject: The earl has given to the abbot and convent and their successors in perpetual alms one plot of land at Hertindon in le Peek [Hartington], which is called Clementeshet, and adjoining the close of the abbot and convent at Cronkesdon [Cronkston]. To hold in severalty to the abbot and convent freely, well and in peace. [Further details given].
