Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III [Edmund of Lancaster].
Place or subject: £7 of yearly rent with appurtenances from the mill of Duffeld [Duffield], which Ralph, John's father gave to him. To hold to Edmund and his heirs or assigns freely and quietly forever, paying yearly to John and his heirs one clove at Christmas at Duffeld [Duffield] for all service, custom and exaction and also for an oath of fealty. For this grant Edmund gave John £100 of silver in advance.
