Folios: 66v-67. Warwickshire. Grant.
First party: Henry de Bays.
Second party: Roger Russell.
Place or subject: One croft with appurtenances in the vill of Kenelworth [Kenilworth], namely that which lies between the land of John le Bariler on the one side, and the land of Roger Russel on the other, in length of which one side stretches upon the land of Richard de Thalamo and the other upon the land of John Countasse. For Roger's homage and service. To hold to Roger and his heirs or assigns in fee and inheritance freely and quietly, well and in peace, paying for this yearly to Henry and his heirs 1d at the two terms of the year, namely half a penny at the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary in March and half a penny at Michaelmas for all secular service. For this grant Roger gave Henry 8s in advance.
