Second party: Thomas, earl of Lancaster.
Place or subject: The whole of their waste and wood in the vill of Assesho [Ashow] which lies in a certain place called Wydenhaye, just as it extends in length and width between the bank called Avene and the earl's wood called le Frith of Kenill' [Kenilworth]. Which same wood and waste Esylia had in the name of dower by the gift of William de Symeli, formerly her husband. To hold to the earl and his heirs freely, quietly, well and in peace, forever of the chief lords of the fee. For this grant the earl gave to them five marks in advance.
