First party: John Pecche, lord of Hamptone [Hampton in Arden].
Second party: Thomas, earl of Lancaster.
Place or subject: All John's right and claim in the earl's park of Kenilworth, which the earl holds enclosed by ditches and pales with a certain plot of land and meadow called Rincel, according to how it is enclosed, together with all other plots of land and assarts, meadows and pastures, which the earl holds as his severalty on the day of the completion of the present deed. Saving to John and his heirs the common of his pasture with all his demesne pigs and animals and in two plots of land called Merebrok and Bernet and in other places not enclosed on the day of the completion of the present deed, just as John had been accustomed to have previously. John also quitclaimed to the prior of Kenilworth and the abbot of Stonlegh [Stoneleigh] and their successors forever the whole of his right and claim which he had or could have in all his lands and tenements that they held of the fee of the earl in the vill of Kenilworth on the day of the completion of the present deed. John also remitted to Robert le Dollere, Richard Tornill, William Blundel, William de Warrewyk [Warwick], William Martin, Henry de Bobenhull, Richard le Houere, Thomas Brid, Richard le Coliere, Adam Salwy, Petronilla de Gaunt, Roger le Wyte, Nicholas son of Nicholas, Richard de Windlesores [Windsor], William le Coliere, John Nicol, Walter de Hull, John de Celario, William Pope, Peter atte Hale, Thomas de Anslegh, Robert Cok, Felicia Newecomen, Aubrey le Taillur, John de Multretone, John Balle, Robert Waluer, Henry le Mazoun, Robert Pate, Walter Hert, William le Ropere, Thomas de Bromwysz, Robert, son of John Waltier, Thomas le Coliere, Stephen le Lay, Agnes Waltier, Roger le Wyte, John le Ropere, William Chichely, Jordan Balle, Elias le Wodeward, Robert Tornill, Christiana Ailwy, Randal atte Laghton and their heirs all his right and claim in all his lands and tenements which they held of the fee of the earl in the vill of Kenilworth on the day of the completion of the present deed. For this quitclaim the earl gave John 50 marks in advance.
