Description

Folios: 64v-65. Warwickshire. Grant.

First party: Robert de Fulrithy of Overtyndon [Ettington].

Second party: John de Fos of Haleford [Halford] and Felicia, his wife, and John's heirs.

Place or subject: One half-virgate of land in the fields of Overetyndone [Ettington], which Robert had by the gift and feoffment of Wardulf de Chastirtone. To hold of the chief lords of that fee by the services due and accustomed. If it happens that John or Felicia, his wife, or John's heirs or assigns are hindered, impleaded or in any way aggrieved concerning the premises or by any judgement lose this half-yardland in any way, then Robert binds himself and Robert, his son and heir, in warranty to deliver to John and Felicia and his heirs 13½ acres, two acres of which lie upon Blakemardon in le Dene; and one acre lies upon Crikeledefurlung; and one half acre lies upon le Sonde; and one half acre lies upon Rulond; and one acre lies upon Brodelond; and one acre lies upon Rushull; and one and half acres lie upon Luctheblakemardon; and one and a half acres lie upon Aysfurlung; and one half acre lies Attethorne; and one acre upon Grenehurste; and one and a half acres lie upon Werhull; and half an acre extends in le Grene; and one acre upon Werefurlung.
