First party: Edmund, the king's brother [Edmund of Lancaster], by Roger Brabazun, his attorney.
Second party: William, son of William, son of Hugh de Losele.
Place or subject: One messuage and two and a half yardlands with appurtenances, except for nineteen acres and three roods of land in Belgrave. Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them in the same court, namely that William acknowledged those tenements to be the right of Edmund. And he handed them over to Edmund in this court. To hold to Edmund and his heirs of the chief lords of that fee by the services pertaining to those tenements forever. For this concord Edmund gave William 20 marks of silver.
