First party: William, son of William de Sadington of Leicester.
Second party: All his tenants in Leycestre [Leicester], Bronkingthorp [Bruntingthorpe] and Ayleston [Aylestone], both free and others.
Place or subject: Because the said William has granted by his charter to Edmund, son of Henry III, all the lands and tenements, which he had or could have in the said vills, together with the homages and services of the said tenants, and all other things belonging to the said lands and tenements, to hold to him and his heirs of the said William and his heirs forever, as is more fully contained in the said charter, the said William commands his said tenants that they are attendant and answerable to the said Edmund and his heirs as if their lord.
