Second party: Maurice le Chaumberleing [Chamberlain].
Place or subject: Three roods of land in Desford which William de Hethre holds, lying near to the way that leads from Desford to Shulton [Earl Shilton]. To hold to Maurice and his heirs in tail freely, quietly and in peace forever, paying 2s. yearly to the earl and his heirs at the usual terms in the vill of Desford, and making two views a year at the earl's view of frankpledge of Desford for all services. If Maurice dies without heirs in tail, these three roods are to revert to the earl and his heirs.
