Description

Folios: 58v-59. Leicestershire. Grant.

First party: William Comyn of Boghan [Buchan].

Second party: Thomas, earl of Lancaster.

Place or subject: His entire vills of Bochardeston [Botcheston] and Neuton [Newtown Unthank] with all lands, rents, homages, wards, reliefs, marriages, escheats, reversions of any tenements and with the bodies and chattels of all his villeins in those vills and with their chattels and followings, and whatever he had in those vills, without any reservation, which lands he had from the gift and feoffment of John Comyn, earl of Buchan. To hold to the earl and his heirs and assigns freely, quietly and by inheritance of the chief lords by the services which pertain to those tenements, forever with homages, wards, reliefs, marriages, escheats and reversions of any tenements, and with all other services of freeholders and with the bodies and chattels of all villeins and their followings, and with woods, turbaries, marshes, quarries, wastes, free fishing, meadows, pastures and pasturages, suits of court and all other things pertaining, without any reservation forever.
