Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III and brother of Edward I [Edmund of Lancaster].
Place or subject: His whole right and claim in his forest of Leicester, except for Brankenholm. To hold to Edmund and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, entirely and in inheritance, saving to Nicholas and his heirs housebote and haybote by the view of the forester of Edmund. For this quitclaim Edmund gave Nicholas 20 marks of silver in advance.
