Place or subject: One plot of land called le Boyshalle, which lies in the parish of St Mary de Castro, Leicester, opposite Leicester Castle between the land which Alice sold to the commonalty of Leicester and the roadway which leads towards the mill of the castle with buildings and appurtenances, except for one plot of land which lies at the head of the hall opposite to that land, which she sold to the commonalty. For a certain sum of money paid in advance. To hold to Richard and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, well and in peace without any opposition or challenge or impediment from Alice or his heirs forever, doing to the chief lords the services due and accustomed for this.
