Folios: 46-46v. Leicestershire. Quitclaim.
First party: John, son of John le Deveneys.
Second party: Simon de Montfort, earl of Leicester.
Place or subject: One pair of white gloves of annual rent from the price of one penny, which Richard Kaylewey was accustomed to pay to John for the land which he once held of him in the vill of Thornton with all appurtenances, as in homages, services, rents, reliefs, wards and escheats and all others things which could fall in by reason of the rent to John or his heirs in any way. In such a way that John or his heirs will from henceforth have no claim to the premises.
