Place or subject: The king has granted to Edmund, his son, the honor of Leicester with all homages, wards, reliefs, escheats, rents and all other things pertaining to that honor. To have to Edmund and his heirs, just as is more fully contained in the charter made to him. The king orders the sheriffs of Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Essex, Sussex and Middlesex and all other sheriffs and stewards, in whose bailiwicks the honor of Leicester is, that they do not interfere or allow their bailiffs to interfere in that honor or the men of that honor.
