First party: Alan Hunter (Venator) of Totebur' [Tutbury].
Second party: William de Ferrers, earl of Derby.
Place or subject: The whole assart with appurtenances called Prince Ruding in the territory of Totebur' [Tutbury] between the hay of the earl and the land of Roger de Norton, together with the charter of feoffment of that assart. Also one toft with appurtenances in the vill of Tutbury, containing three roods of land, namely that which is called Schepenecroft at the end of the vill towards the park of the earl, together with the charter of feoffment of that toft. All of which Alan had from the gift of William de Ferrers, late earl of Derby, father of the earl.
