Place or subject: Twelve yardlands, ten acres and three tofts with appurtenances in the vill of Ringstude [Ringstead], namely two yardlands which Geoffrey son of Walter and Theodoric, Hugh son of Geoffrey, and Henry his brother held; and half a yardland which Lawrence the clerk, Maud the widow and Hugh son of Ingrid held; and one yardland which Richard Cho, William Cho, Ascer Cho and William his brother held; and two and a half yardlands which Richard Heres and Walter his brother held; and two yardlands and five acres which Albin son of William and Matthew his brother held; and half a yardland and five acres which John Cho and Richard his brother held; and half a yardland which Ernald Ruffus held; and one yardland which Alfred Telarius, Hugh his brother, Richard son of Geoffrey and Hugh son of William held; and half a yardland which Robert son of William held; and one yardland which Robert son of Turkill, Robert his brother and Geoffrey his brother held; and one yardland which Geoffrey son of Wolmer, Adam, Theobald and Avice, daughter of Norm', held; and one toft which William Scot held; and one toft which Richard son of Emma held; and one toft which Albin held. And five yardlands and one toft with all appurtenanaces in the vill of Stanwige [Stanwick], namely half a yardland which Walter son of Gilbert held, and two yardlands which William, Walter son of Gilbert, Ranulph son of William, William son of Maud, and Ascelin his brother held; and half a yardland which William David held; and one yardland which Albin Freman held; and one yardland which Ralph son of Roger, Robert de Chelveston, Robert son of Hugh, William Cupere, Edussa and Emma held; and one toft which William son of David, Hugh son of Gilbert, and Robert son of William held. And six yardlands and five acres and two tofts with all appurtenances in the vill of Shelveston [Chelveston], namely one yardland, which Henry son of Ascelin held; and half a yardland which Thomas de Stanwig [Stanwick] held; and one yardland which Geoffrey the clerk held; and half a yardland which Richard son of Wymund held; and half a yardland which Gilbert son of Norm' held; and five acres of land which Asketil son of Gilbert, held; and one yardland which Robert the knight held; and one yardland which Gilbert, Richard, William and Henry held; and one toft which Joscelin son of Norm', and Agnes daughter of Richard held; and half a yardland which Hugh Ferrand held; and one toft which Roger son of Godfrey held. And fourteen yardlands and five cottages with appurtenances in the vill of Caldekote [Caldecott], namely two yardlands which Snave held; and one yardland which Geoffrey son of Sampson and Walter de Russenden held; and one yardland which Stephen, Asketill, Henry and Adelina held; and one yardland and one cottage which Henry son of Ralph held; and one yardland which Martin Long held; and one yardland which Ralph son of Ascelin held; and one yardland which Norman and Ralph held; and one yardland which Stephen and William held; and one toft with a messuage which Joscelin de Chelveston held; and one cottage which Richard Rot held; and one cottage which Ralph son of Sampson held; and one messuage which Simon Burell held; and one yardland which William de Russenden held; and one yardland which Turbert and Roger Ordwy held; and one yardland which Joscelin son of Ralph held; and one yardland which Ralph son of Osbert and Ivetta held; and one yardland which Ralph Cho and Alan son of Geoffrey held. To hold in fee and inheritance of the earl and his heirs freely and quietly, doing to the earl and his heirs the service of one knight's fee for all services pertaining to the him and his heirs, saving foreign service. And it is to be known that, when the earl's manor of Stanford will be delivered, Hubert de Burgh and his heirs are to hand over the whole lands in Northamptonshire to the earl and his heirs quit, and they are to receive in that manor of Stanford [Stanford in the Vale] a reasonable exchange to the value of those lands.
