Second party: Aubrey, wife of Loc de Mercinton [Marchington], and John, her son.
Place or subject: The earl grants to Aubrey and John and their heirs for their homage and service eight acres of land in the territory of Mercinton [Marchington] in the assart of Lihthurst in exchange for the 5s which William de Ferrers, the earl's father, gave to Loc yearly in the mill of Duffeld [Duffield]. To hold of the earl and his heirs freely, quietly and entirely, paying yearly to the earl and his heirs 4d for all service, namely 2d at Michaelmas and 2d at the feast of St Mary in March [25 March].
