Second party: Edmund, the king's brother [Edmund of Lancaster].
Place or subject: Eight acres of land lying in the territory of Mercington [Marchington] in an assart called Litterhurst. To hold to Edmund and his heirs freely, quietly, entirely and in inheritance forever as freely and quietly as any land or tenement can be held more freely and quietly. For this grant Edmund gave Walter five marks sterling.
