First party: Robert de Punchardun.
Second party: William de Punchardun, his son.
Place or subject: Robert's mills which he had in the vill of Russindene [Rushden] by the gift of William de Ferrers, earl of Derby, with the whole suit and all other things pertaining to them. To hold to William and his heirs in tail of the earl and his heirs, performing to them the fortieth part of one knight's fee, just as the earl's charter bears witness. And if it happens William dies without heirs in tail before Robert's death, those mills are to revert to Robert and his heirs without any opposition. And after Robert's death William and his heirs in tail are to do homage and that service of a fortieth part of one knight's fee to the earl and his heirs forever.
