First party: Alfred de Soleny.
Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III [Edmund of Lancaster].
Place or subject: £6 of yearly rent with appurtenances in Utcoxhathere [Uttoxeter], namely those £6 of yearly rent which he was accustomed to receive from the whole capital messuage and garden of Uttoxeter, and 120 acres of land upon le Brendes in the ward of Uttoxeter, which messuage, garden and lands John de Soleny, his uncle, had of the gift of Robert de Ferrers, late earl of Derby. To hold to the said Edmund and his heirs or assigns the said £6 of yearly rent and to be received yearly from all tenants of the said messuage, garden and lands at the terms, which they were accustomed to pay to the said Alfred, together with all other services and escheats of the same tenants and their heirs or assigns, without any reservation, freely, quietly, well, in peace and inheritance forever by the services thereupon previously due to the chief lord of that fee.
