Description

Printed prize appeal from the High Court of Admiralty.

Captured ship: Jonge Hendrina [first capture] (master Remkes Wopkes).

History: a Dutch vessel, bound from Brindisi to Nantes, laden with olive oil; taken on 11 November 1778 by the privateer Enterprize (Thomas Eden commanding) and brought into the Downs.

Appellant: The captor.

Respondent: The master.

Bound printed appeal: no decree recorded here.

Folios 237-256v, comprising folios 237-238v: case on behalf of the appellant; folios 239-246v: appendix to the appellants' case; folios 247-248v: case on behalf of the respondent; folios 249-256v: appendix to the respondents' case.
