Copy of a letter from the King of France to d'Avaux discussing further conflicting reports regarding the acceptance of the King of Sweden's mediation by the Allies, and of Denmark's alleged Treaty with England and Holland. The French King asks d'Avaux to seek to ascertain the true feelings of the Swedish King towards the Duke of Gottorp.
