Folio 231: William Scott, HMS Porpoise, Sydney Cove, to Philip King, HMS Buffalo. He feels that taking Officers and men from HMS Porpoise will benefit England and the Navy as Captain Flinders' work is so important. He has asked of his Officers and men who would like to go back to England on HMS Calcutta and who would like to stay as a settler on the same terms as the soldiers of the New South Wales Corps.
