Is sending the original papers about the foul attack on Lieutenant Ingles by a Marine and Lieutenant Forsyth. His attempts to settle the dispute have proved useless and so to vindicate Ingles' character, Forsyth was arrested but there are no ships for a Courts Martial because HMS Buffalo is going to to Calcutta with the breeding cows. He has asked Captain Colnett, HMS Glatton and Captain Kent to form a Court of Enquiry on the charges made by Lieutenant Ingles. This found that all persons concerned and the witnesses should be sent back to England for a Courts Martial. He is making these appointments. Bartholomew Kent and Charles Robbins to be acting Lieutenants for Ingles and Forsyth. William House is to be acting Master. Witnesses Stott, Lloyd, Rawlins, Gerrault and Mrs Aichibald, and two prisoners, Forsyth and Archibald, are being sent to England, while Ingles is going in the whaler in HMS Glattons' convoy.
