Folios 559-560: George Murray, HMS Duke, Spithead. His observations on the trial of Whites of Garlich Hill Tallow Chandler, Air Machine, that was allowed on HMS Defence in 1790 which he commanded, Is of the opinion that it is far superior than the ventilators currently on HMS Duke and asks the Admiralty to be allowed the Whites ventilator on HMS Duke.
