Description

Folios 470-471: Amhurst Morris, HMS Terror, Spithead. The enclosed letters are from Lieutenant Jonathon Smith. He has no objection to the proposal.

Folios 472-473: enclosure with folios 470-471. Letter dated 12 December 1793 from Jonathon Smith, HMS Terror, Spithead to Amhurst Morris. his circumstances do not allow him to continue on board HMS Terror. Asks to be replaced.

Folios 474-475: enclosure with folios 470-471. Letter dated 12 December 1793 from Jonathon Smith, HMS Terror, to the Admiralty Board. Requests appointment to another ship, with Captain Morris's approval.
