Folios 243-244: James May, HMS Dolphin, Spithead. Repeats his request regarding orders for the Supernumeraries such as nurses etc carried on his hospital ship. Requests orders for carrying them ,so that he can complete the Hospital Establishment. Lieutenant Ward, who was appointed First Lieutenant, has not yet joined, and he has no Carpenter. Mr Jeffery Vickers has been absent since 2 March, having been sent to London for superannuation due to ill health, but not heard from since. Requests appointments to the vacancies.
