Folios 229-230: George Maxwell, HMS Lord Mulgrave, River Humber. Has received the letter of 16 October enclosing the application for the discharge of William Turner, who has been pressed, together with a Certificate from the Collector and Comptroller of the Port of Hull, that he had given security to proceed as a Line Manager in the ship Fanny for Greenland. Mr Turner was taken from the Douro, Master George Wilson, when coming up The Humber from Riga. He was not at any time employed in the Colliery or Coasting Trade, which would have been reasons exempting him. Returns the papers.
