Folios 219-220: Has received the letter of 21 September enclosing the letter of Mr Thomas Thornton, applying for the discharge of George Cammell, Mate of the Flora of Hull, who was pressed to HMS Lord Mulgrave. He has also seen the Affidavit of the Master of the vessel. The man was pressed on shore. not on ship's duty. He had no papers to prove he was the Mate of the Flora. The Affidavit of John Snowdon. Master of the Flora, is dated 14 September, but the man was pressed on 12 September. Returns the Affidavit and letter of Mr Thornton.
